June 12th marks the birth of Kirishima Sora, student from the Songwriting Department at Ironoha Music Academy.

To celebrate the occasion, Kirishima Sora (cv. Uemura Yuuto) has addressed a message to the citizens:

“Hello there! We’re already June 12th, which means it’s my birthday! To be celebrated by this many people is simply incredible, I cannot thank you enough for your attention.

This year, my fellow classmates have a very special gift for me… They’re all going to visit me, in Aomori! They’re actually on their way as I’m speaking! Gosh, I cannot wait for us all to reunite~! There’s so much to do and visit in my city, I’m super excited to take them around.

My music career has been going really well lately, I think I can safely say I’m finding my place under the sun! Other than that, I have been playing the piano every day without fail: I can never get enough of this tingling satisfaction when a new melody weaves itself under my fingers.
As a composer, my wish is to compose songs that resonate with people—it doesn’t have to be all of them, just one is enough to make my dream come true.

Your unwavering support and presence have been a reliable pillar to lean on for me: they feed my drive to push forward. With that said, I will compose for as long as I can, as much as I can… So I hope you’re ready for what’s to come!”
