Hellooowww everyone~! Kairi-kyun’s on the mic!
OMG, you guys won't believe this: so we had a popularity poll among the selected students of Ironoha to see who’d wear the winning uniform from the Japan Seifuku Design Award, right? Well, guess what? Your Kairi-kyun totally crushed the votes, like, none could stand a chance! He's not the greatest genius that's ever lived following the revolution for nothing~

Now, feast your eyes on this beauty! They designed this uniform specially for us, like, look at this! It’s basically your Kairi-kyun’s aesthetics, he was made for this—isn't that crazy? The contrast of black and red are such a perfect combo, and the sort of mix-and-match between feminine and masculine shapes? Totally up my alley, especially with the ribbon that adds a sweet touch to the overall tough-cookie look—gosh, I can't even, it's sooo good. And check out the pleated skirt over the pants: it gives off so much of that ritzy oomph! Whoever designed this has immaculate fashion sense, for real. Just wearin’ it makes me feel like I could conquer the world!

I wouldn’t be parading around with a masterpiece on my back without your votes guys, so thank you. I love you all so much, you have no idea~

February 17th marks the birth of Takarada Iori, student from the Vocalist Department at Ironoha Music Academy.

To celebrate the occasion, Takarada Iori (cv.Saito Soma) has addressed a message to the citizens:

“First, I would like to thank you for all the messages you sent me—they mean the world to me. As a vocalist, I will continue to strive for the best to take you on a beautiful voyage with my singing.

My fellow classmates at Ironoha put together a party to make sure they would be first to wish me well when the date changed to the 17th: we loudly toasted in my honour, ate a lot of cake—it was chaotic but good fun. Takatsuki and Kurahashi were too busy to make it in person, but they still took time out of their day to message me. Everyone has just been so kind to me, I cannot thank them enough.
In other news, Haruhi has booked a table for us this evening. I haven’t seen him in a long while, and I’m really excited to catch up with him. I wonder where he’s going to take me to eat though, hmm…

That being said, I wish you all a sweet evening. I look forward to what this year will bring for us!”

“Tokyo Color Sonic -The First Sound-” | INTRODUCTION
“In 208X…
The government founded COLORATION, a production agency under their jurisdiction, hoping to raise the level and sophistication of the entertainment industry nationwide.
Ironoha Music Academy, operated by COLORATION, is a music institute that operates dozens of schools across the country. Students plough away to become unparalleled singers, composers and lyricists, pursuing their own artistic expression in hopes of leading the music industry and achieving their dreams.

The “Tokyo Color Sonic” is an annual music festival, albeit revolutionised by a new rule: to pair up selected students from Ironoha’s regional branches, create a single song and finally compete at the festival.
The competition draws a limelight on the “vanguards of the music industry.”

Looking back to three years ago...
The newly instituted ‘buddy system’ made wave among COLORATION and the Academy, pushing the youth to confront themselves and their music: “What does music mean to me?” “Why do I want to make music so badly?”

Tension and conflicts brought them to a crossroad. In seeking notes that escape them still, the selected students learn from the awkward struggles of growing up.

Thus, their story began.

A little more immature than now but burning with equally passionate dreams, ‘The First Sound’ will spin each of their tales unseen from ‘back then’...”

The serial will be streamed on Tokyo Color Sonic’s official YouTube channel for free, every week!
Seven NEW songs will be included: while Miyazono Tomoe and Sakaki Oshiro have yet to enrol in Ironoha Music Academy, their participation in the fifth season has been confirmed!
Episode 1 to 4 will be streamed during Tokyo Color Sonic’s “Customer Appreciation Sales” at the Animate Ikebukuro branch’s theatre, on March 17th and March 18th, 2025. The screening will be the same for both days, and will last approximately 20 minutes.

Further information on the songs’ themes and other details will be unveiled soon. Stay tuned!
