September 22nd marks the birth of Takatsuki Kagura, graduate student from Ironoha Music Academy.

To celebrate the occasion, Takatsuki Kagura (cv. Eguchi Takuya) has addressed a message to the citizens:

“Greetings, Takatsuki Kagura speaking. September 22nd marks the day I came into this world, and I ought to thank you all for sending me your early birthday wishes.

I was at home, enjoying a glass of wine, when the clock struck midnight and a flood of congratulatory messages from my fellows of Ironoha came in. It’s a tradition I’ve grown to look forward to with the years, yet the gesture never fails to move me.
I could go talk in length about the challenges of living in a new environment, but I see these changes as fundamental checkpoints that will steadily lead me towards my goals. This is why I wake up every day to devote myself to my work with due diligence: I remind myself that being a member of society means applying my talents to contribute to the world we aim to build, and that my seat is as valuable as any other.
I shall take on this year a step at a time in hopes that, next year, I will have an equally positive perspective on my birthday.

Thank you immensely for your kind attention and support. Take care.”
