“Sharing A Tailored Tea”
[Wizards’ Manor—Dining Hall]
Akira: (I should take my time enjoying my tea; Mitile and Figaro kindly steeped it for me after all… But I didn’t expect it to have such an intense colour…)
…Oh, Oz! Hi there!
Oz: Good afternoon, Sage.
… …
Akira: (Hm? What is he staring at? …Oh, of course.)
Don’t mind me, I was feeling under the weather lately so Mitile and Figaro took it upon themselves to make some tea. I’ve heard it’s very effective to relieve fatigue.
Oz: … …That is not what tea should look like.
Akira: I, I’m aware it has a strange colour, but I’m sure it’s normal for something steeped with medicinal herbs! I can concede that it may be just a touch bitter…
But that’s exactly what will make one feel better afterwards! At least that’s what they’ve told me. Would you like to share some with me?
Oz: …Very well.
Akira: Awesome! Let me pour you a cup.
Err, well… Bottoms up, I guess.
Oz: Cheers…
Akira: (Gulps) …
Eurk…! So bitter! It’s vile!!!
(Gah, bitterness has never, ever shot electricity through my body like that… I wonder how Oz is holding up…)
Oz: … …
Akira: (He didn’t even flinch!?)
O, Oz… Wasn’t your tea too bitter to drink…?
Oz: I don’t mind it.
…I have tried Figaro’s handmade medicine before: it was a concoction that nearly killed the twins. This tea is palatable in comparison.
Akira: (His tolerance is in a whole different league…!)
