“A Suitable Music Box to Pair”
[Wizards’ Manor—Heathcliff’s Bedroom]
(Someone knocks at the door.)
Heathcliff: Come on in… Oh, it’s you Master Sage. How can I help you?
Akira: Sorry for suddenly invading your space, but with you holed up in your room so often these days, I thought something might have been bothering you…
Heathcliff: Ah, my apologies! I didn’t mean to worry anybody.
Still, thank you for going out of your way to check on me. I was focusing on some work that is causing me trouble, so I didn’t realise…
Um, do you remember the music box ballerina in my family’s castle I once showed you?
Akira: The music box you made when you were a child, correct?
Heathcliff: Yes, that is the one. She so patiently waits for me back home… I thought I could craft another music box to pair with hers to return the sentiment.
But the moment I sat down to get to work, I felt overwhelmed by my own thoughts. I didn’t even know where to start.
Akira: That music box is one of your most precious possessions, I understand why you’re having such a hard time figuring it out.
Heathcliff: It is precious to me, and I really want to create a suitable companion for her, but…
Akira: (A companion, huh… Oh, I know!)
I’ve got an idea! How about asking the others for ideas?
Sometimes, speaking with your friends can spring to life ideas you would have never thought of on your own—especially when you’re stuck in your own head!
Heathcliff: …You’re making a good point: being in the Manor with everyone else is an opportunity I should take to gather inspiration.
In that case… May I ask for your help first, Master Sage?
Akira: Yes, of course!
→ Heathcliff is referring to the ballerina that he restored with precious gems, that later called out to him during the night, in “Blanchett Castle—Main Location story, chapter four.”
