Akira: Mitile? What are you eating?
Mitile: Munch– gulp! Ahem, Master Sage!
I was eating these baked sweets. Here, look, they are super cute, and they’re even shaped like stars!
Akira: That’s adorable—oh! I didn’t notice all the tiny little stars inside...! That’s a nice way to represent this Star Festival: it makes even the food feel special and keeps things entertaining!
Mitile: You can have it if you want, Master Sage! It tastes as good as it looks!
Akira: Are you sure? Well, don’t mind if I do.
…Oh, wow, it’s fluffy and has just the right amount of sweetness. I could eat twenty of these.
Mitile: Well, what if I told you that you could eat some more? I was actually looking for someone to help me finish these…
Akira: Help you…? Did you end up buying too many snacks?
Mitile: Um, yes and no…? You see, if you buy a pack of ten of these sweets, you can get a star-shaped charm.
Two large stars, and two smaller ones that come together to form a constellation… I don’t know why, but that reminded me a little of us, Southern wizards… (1)
Akira: Now that you mention it, I definitely see it…! Even that shade of green suits you four perfectly.
Mitile: Right? …That’s why I wanted to get three more charms to bring back as a souvenir.
I feel like it could ease the loneliness to know that we have something that ties us together, even when we’re apart on events like these.
But no matter how yummy these sweets are, I don’t want to get a tummy ache either…
Akira: Nothing would make me more happy than to help you, of course! Let’s fill our bellies to bring home these charms!
