“A Toast To His Kindness”
[Western Country—Rural Town]
Shopkeeper: Hey, you two over there! Care for a li’l degustation?
Rutile: Wow! I see you’re well prepared, look at all these bottles lined up for sampling. Master Sage, how about we stop for a drink?
Akira: Sounds great, I was actually getting a bit thirsty.
Shopkeeper: In that case, I'd recommend this mellow wine: it’ll do just the trick!
Akira: Th-thank you!
(Shoot! I instinctively accepted the glass, but I can’t…)
Rutile: It sure looks delicious! Well, don’t mind if I take a glass as well.
(They uncork the bottle.)
Rutile: Mmmh~ and this scent! Mister, may I ask for your recommendations on grape juice, if you have any?
Shopkeeper: Then I’ve got just what you need: the grapes in this one have such richness, it almost tastes like wine!
Rutile: Thank you very much. How about you try this juice instead, Master Sage?
Akira: Thank you, Rutile…for remembering that I can’t drink alcohol.
Rutile: No, no, in fact I should be the one thanking you! I’m able to taste those tasteful wines only thanks to you, Master Sage.
Akira: Rutile… um, I'd like to propose a toast, if that’s okay.
Rutile: Oh! I would say that’s a wonderful suggestion, actually—of course, and gladly so!
Well, Master Sage, let’s raise our glass to this fantastic Harvest Festival!
Rutile & Akira: Cheers!
