“Heal Me With Your Hands”
[Manor—Living room]
Figaro: Ahhh…
Akira: Figaro? What has you sighing like that?
Figaro: I’m just a little worn out. Walpurgisnacht was only a few evenings ago after all, I’m sure you can empathise with my predicament, yes?
Akira: Hm-hm, I do; you had to listen to all those wizards with their fair share of troubles at the feast…
Figaro: I don’t hate being relied on—on the contrary—but it's far too many people for a single man to handle for a whole night, don’t you think? I’m not the young man I used to be.
Akira: You did your best in upholding such a difficult role, so make sure to get plenty of rest today, okay?
(It's pretty rare to see Figaro this worn out... I wish there was something I could do for him…)
…I have an idea! I could give you a massage! How does that sound?
Figaro: Ahaha, I wouldn’t say no to receive such care from our Master Sage.
Akira: Consider it a gesture in return for all the help you always provide us with.
Figaro: Thank you for your concern—I’ll take your word for it then, and leave you to work your magic.
⁂
(A few moments later)
Figaro: I feel completely rejuvenated, and it’s only thanks to you, Master Sage.
Akira: I’m glad I could be of help to you.
Figaro: Would you like to join me for a cup of tea? I was thinking of brewing some of those nice tea leaves I got the other day.
Doctor Figaro will even sprinkle his very own sugar, just for this occasion—consider it a little thank-you gift for giving me a shoulder massage.
Akira: Thank you very much! I’d be delighted to eat your...
…Wait, now that I think about it, wouldn’t you have felt better if you ate your own sugar rather than being massaged…
Figaro: Hm? Apologies, I wasn’t listening, Master Sage.
Oh, by the way, your massage was immensely therapeutic. Next time I find myself exhausted, could I ask for your services again? Pretty please?
