Akira: (Hm? Isn’t that…)
Bradley, where are you going? I thought you were supposed to be cutting wood for the community volunteering....
Bradley: A break ‘s a break, I’ve been choppin’ ‘em up like crazy until now.
Akira: Oh you’re right, the firewood is all nicely piled up.
Bradley: That bunch ’s good enough. I’ve worked my spine for a good hundred years at least.
Akira: (There’s still about half left though…)
Bradley: Go brag about me to those geezers. Tell ‘em I’ve been real into that whole community service thing.
Akira: A-Alright, I will. Right, you’ve done plenty of volunteering already, haven’t you?
What other works have you done so far?
Bradley: They’re all pretty much the same as choppin’ wood. Only thing they got in common ‘s that they’re chores the twins force me to do.
Cleaning up rubble, guarding someone, doing hard work the humans can’t do, that kinda stuff.
Akira: That’s amazing. Those are praiseworthy acts of volunteering, not just chores, you know.
Bradley: Yeah, I know. I’ve been sent out to kill magical beasts once, and another where I've been cursed with a weird-ass spell that turned my whole fuckin’ body purple.
Akira: What!? Th-That’s… More than just volunteering...?
Bradley: That beast ended up bein' a damn good mana stone. Would be better if it all worked like that.
Akira: (He’s unwreckable…!)
