chapter one

[Wizards’ Manor—Bennett's Bar]

Rustica: Lord Figaro, have you perhaps seen Master Sage?

Figaro: Hey there Rustica. I think Master Sage went out with Murr earlier.

Rustica: I see. In that case, may I wait for their return in your company?

Figaro: Of course. ...Something about you feels different today... Ah, but of course, it’s the red lips—it suits you.

Rustica: As expected of you, Lord Figaro, you have a keen eye for details in others.

In fact, I just had a Rouge Berry cocktail.

Figaro: So that’s what it was. When Rutile was little, I remember giving him some of those berries as a souvenir from the West. I remember how happy he was to have his lips painted red.

Rustica: That is a lovely memory. It seems that Rutile and I are quite like-minded.

Master Sage complimented me about the shade once, saying that I looked “just like Shylock.” Their words truly tickled me pink that day.

Figaro: I can see where Master Sage was getting at: you look like a fine gentleman that knows how to enjoy his nights.

Rustica: Thank you. Master Sage seemed rather embarrassed by their compliment however, which I still fail to understand. They have such peculiar reactions...

Figaro: Oh? That's interesting.

Rustica: Isn't it? That new side of Master Sage was quite charming. I hoped to catch that expression on them once more tonight.

Figaro: That's why you were looking for Master Sage? Well don't mind if I stick around, I'd love to see that too.

Shylock? Give me one of those Rouge Berry cocktails, same as his.

chapter two

Shylock
: There, your Rouge Berry cocktail.

Figaro: Thank you. Well then, let’s raise our glass.

Figaro & Rustica: Cheers!

Figaro: So, what do you think? Do I look like Shylock too?

Rustica: Hmm, unfortunately, you don't resemble him one bit.

However, this tint on your lips adorns your image with a distinguished and appealing aura, as though gazing upon a large, blooming flower.

This gives you a charm that would steal the hearts of any who see you.

Figaro: Ahah, well aren't you a smooth-talker. I'm almost embarrassed by the compliment.

Rustica: My, I wasn’t particularly trying to sway you. I only depicted the picture that was presented before my eyes.

I wonder what Master Sage will say about me. I cannot wait for their return.

episode story

“Tea on this Evening”

Akira: Hm? That person over there...

Rustica: Good evening, Master Sage.

Akira: Good evening to you too. I see you're having your usual tea—

...Huh? Why do I smell alcohol though?

Rustica: Truth is, I added some alcohol-infused jam to my tea today.

Akira: Wow, putting jam in your tea? How sophisticated.

Rustica: I could brew some for you with regular jam if you wish, Master Sage.

Akira: I would love to! Thank you Rustica.

By the way, I saw you drinking and chatting with Figaro at the bar the other day...

I have to admit I was pretty surprised to see you both with wine-red lips. What were you two even talking about?

Rustica: Oh, dear, we had such a wonderful time.

Lord Figaro is a mischievous soul at heart, and rather skilled at rousing his surroundings at that.

After a while, Mitile came to warn Lord Figaro of the amount of alcohol he was having. That was a most amusing exchange to witness.

Akira: Ahaha, I'm glad you two had fun.

Rustica: That we did. While that night was delightful, you and I shall make this evening just as wonderful.

I would love to hear about any fun or interesting things that have occurred to you today, Master Sage.
