 CARD STORY

You’re the Hero!

CHAPTER I

Chloe: “...Stay right where you are. Like you, I don't want our fun little night to end right here, right now.”

Heathcliff: That’s what the protagonist said while pointing his gun at his rival’s back. That was pretty cool.

Chloe: Right? Ah~ No matter how many times we watch it, it’s always just as good! I was so excited for today’s screening!

Especially the scene where they infiltrate that top-secret military quarter! Wasn’t it nerve-wracking? It always makes my hands sweat somehow!

Heathcliff: Ahaha, I know what you mean. Seems like you really like that movie, Chloe.

Chloe: Yes, I love it! Next time, I’ll make cosplay costumes and we’ll play out that specific scene.

Heathcliff: C-cosplay? Play out?

Chloe: Yeah! You’re mature and have that mysterious air, I'm sure you’ll look great as the main character.

Heathcliff: I don’t think so much so myself. Cosplay… Might be a tad too much for me…

But if you’re the one making them, I would go along.

Chloe: Really!? I’m so happy to hear that. You don’t have to push yourself, though.

...Hm?

Magazine Photographer: Well, hey there. I’m a photographer for a magazine. Do you have a minute?

Heathcliff: Ah… Well, I suppose, hello to you too.

Magazine Photographer: I’m taking street snaps for our next issue. Do you mind if I take a picture of you and your friend?

Chloe: Us, street snapped? It’d be amazing to be featured in a magazine.

Heathcliff: Thing is, I’m not really into this kind of exposure... Don’t worry about me, Chloe, you can go ahead with it if you want.

Chloe: Eh, is that really okay? I don’t mind if you don’t want to, Heath. There’s no point to it if we’re not together in the photo.

Magazine Photographer: What?! But that’d be such a waste!

Heathcliff: Well...

Chloe: …

CHAPTER II

Magazine Photographer
: Don’t worry, I won’t take any compromising shots, I’m pretty skilled.

Heath:  ...No, that’s not it...

Chloe: Sorry, but that’s still a ‘No’ from us.

Heathcliff: Chloe?

Chloe: Let’s go, Heath.

Magazine Photographer: Wait...!

Chloe: ...We’ve made it! I think we’ll be fine for now! That sure was one dedicated fellow. Are you alright after all that running, Heath?

Heathcliff: Huff... Yes, I am. By the way, how come you know all these detours? I've never been through those back alleys or narrow streets before.

Chloe: Rustica often gets lost, so I've got maps and geolocation features installed.

I never thought it'd be useful in that kind of situation.

Heathcliff: Ahaha. That helped us out quite a lot, thank you.

Not to mention, but you looked just like that movie’s hero, Chloe. You know, when they run through all the different routes to escape the military quarters.

Chloe: Uh, really? I’m so happy! But I still think you would be a better fit for the main character, Heath.

Once we cosplay then, let’s strike matching spy poses and take pictures as a souvenir, Heath!

EPISODE STORY

Chloe’s Family

Chloe: Aaand… Done! You’re all fixed up now, Master Sage.

Akira: Thank you, Chloe! Wow... It’s seamless, you can’t even tell that it got sewn back together.

Chloe: Ehehe, well, I can both make and repair clothes. If you ever need a few stitches again, just let me know!

Akira: You’re amazing. I heard that you were born at a tailor’s, but what kind of shop was it?

Chloe: The store was pretty small. We used to live in a rather poor town, so there was more patching up to do than tailoring.

Of course, I wanted to be a tailor myself, but my parents and sisters always were in charge of the more important work.

Even so, I would sneak out once everyone was asleep to create my own clothes and accessories.

Akira: So that means you learnt sewing from your family, am I wrong?

Chloe: Um... I wouldn’t say learnt...

...I guess I did, probably. Honestly, I don't really want to remember what it was like back home.

But if I hadn't been born there, I might have been much, much more helpless.

I wouldn't have met Rustica, and you would have holes in all your clothes, Master Sage!

Akira: Chloe…

Chloe: You don’t have to look so down, really! I'm a bit amazed that even bad memories can turn out good later on.
